Parent-Teacher Organization

The Catholic Central Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (CCES PTO) welcomes all parents/guardians, staff, teachers and students.  The CCES PTO serves to support the mission of Catholic Central Schools, particularly by facilitating communication among parents, teachers, and staff; raising funds to provide additional educational resources and opportunities to teachers and students; and fostering a sense of community and “family” through school events and projects. 

Each year, PTO assists with the following:

Fundraising – Our largest fundraiser is the Annual Wreath Sale, which raises money to help support CCES’s general operating budget. We also support several other fundraisers such as the Box Tops Drive, Market Day, SCRIP Program, and Kroger Cards.

Activities for students – Using monies raised from fundraisers, PTO sponsors events for the students such as Cookies, Crafts & Carols, field days, and activities to celebrate Catholic Schools Week, including bingo contests and a movie and popcorn.

Social events for students and families – PTO has offered a variety of family events over the past few years. The most recent event was a family skating party during Catholic Schools Week.

Positive parent-teacher relationships – PTO works with CCES teachers to provide volunteers and room parents as needed. PTO also purchases items for our teachers from their wish lists.

Offering their time and skills, parents make up an integral part of PTO. Together we can make our school community stronger from what we bring both individually and collectively. We encourage you to get involved in any capacity you can!
