Courage For Carly

On Friday, January 6, our Catholic Central family showed support and love for a fellow athlete, freshman volleyball player Carly Delong. Carly was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on New Year’s Eve and has recently started receiving her treatment at Children’s Hospital of Dayton. Leukemia is the most common childhood cancer and accounts for about 35% of all childhood cancers. Students and fans were there to promote ‘COURAGE FOR CARLY’ by coming together on Friday with an ORANGE OUT – the recognized color for childhood leukemia – and to bring awareness to all of you and to our community. Please keep Carly, her family, and the Catholic Central community in your prayers as she begins her fight with COURAGE against Leukemia.
