Catholic Central Preschool

It is important to choose the right preschool for your child. Preschool often serves as the first solid foundation of learning that will contribute to your child's academic accomplishments in grades K-12. It also plays a vital role in developing your child's socialization skills.

Catholic Central's Preschool Program offers a safe, healthy, and loving environment with an emphasis on Christian values. Classes focus on socialization, independence, creativity, exploration, sharing, spiritual development, and learning to work and play within a group setting.

Our curriculum is prepared to conform with the Ohio Department of Education's Early Learning Standards, which are aligned with the learning benchmarks for Kindergarten through Grade 12.

All classes emphasize play as a learning tool.

Preschool Programs:

 

Preschool

Limestone & Lagonda Campuses - Ages four and five
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8:20 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Child must be four years old by September 30th.

This class focuses on Kindergarten readiness by including alphabet, early literacy, music, early math concepts, science and social studies concepts, art activities, large and small group activities and playtime.

Extended Care Program

Lagonda Campus Only - Ages four and five
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

• Hourly fee is $5.00 for any part of one hour.  Children may sign up for all three days or on an occasional basis.  Children bring their own lunch and will also have a brief rest time.  Activities include outdoor and indoor play, lunch time, rest time, educational activities and story time.

Five Year Old Class

Limestone Campus Only - Ages four and five
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Child must be five years old by October 31st.

• This class, designed for the older preschool child who may be Kindergarten eligible but requires another year of preschool, focuses on Kindergarten readiness: alphabet, early site words, early Spanish, math concepts, science and social studies concepts, art activities, large and small group activities and playtime.

Three and Four Year Old Class

Limestone Campus Only - Ages three and four
Tuesday/Thursday
8:20 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Child must be three years old by September 1st.

• This class, designed for the younger preschool child, gives children opportunities for play with puzzles, art materials, dramatic play, early literacy, blocks, math and science activities, stories and creative movement.

Tuition Costs

Monday, Wednesday, Friday am & pm class: $100 non-refundable registration fee / $145 monthly tuition.

Tuesday/Thursday class:  $100 non-refundable registration fee / $130 monthly tuition.
